New Orleans safety Carvin Johnson (6'0", 180, 4.7) committed to the Wolverines on Wednesday. He is the 20th commitment in the 2010, and one that falls at a much needed position. We need depth at safety...badly.
Carvin's high school coach said he's as good a kid off the field as he is on the field. “First of all,’’ his coach said, “everybody who knows Carvin or who has been around him knows that he’s as good of a person as he is a football player. That’s a compliment to him and his momma. Football-wise, he’s a ballhawk. He’s always around the football making plays.’’
